Covid Letter (Previously Emailed)
Dear fourth grade parents/guardians,
The countdown to Widji continues!
On Monday, your child will bring a rapid antigen test home from school.
On the evening of Tuesday, March 8, please administer a rapid antigen test to your child.
- After the test is complete, please annotate the test card with your student’s name and the date (or place a piece of paper next to the test with their name and the date).
- Take a photo of the negative test.
- When you drop off your child on Wednesday morning, please bring the photo of the negative test (a picture on your phone is perfect) as part of the check-in process.
Frequently Asked Questions
- The rapid antigen test replaces the need for a PCR test. Blake does not require that your child take a PCR test.
- Some students will receive a brand of rapid antigen test called "BD Veritor." This test requires a smartphone to display results. If you do not have access to a smartphone, please contact Brenda Anderson or Monica Anderson, and we will send your child home with a non-digital test.
- You may choose to use any rapid antigen test you have on hand. You do not need to use the test sent home from school.
- If the test is positive, please notify covid@blakeschool.org as soon as possible.
- As we shared in our last message, Camp Widji continues to require masks in some settings. Please ensure that your child brings sufficient masks for three days, taking into account the probability of masked activities indoors and outdoors.
If you have any questions about testing, masking or Covid protocols, please contact Anne Graybeal. With any other trip questions, please contact your child's classroom teacher.
